New Arrivals As September Is Slip-Sliding Away!

Hello there everyone,

Ooh I've only just scraped in to share all the news before September ticks over to October and we are just a little bit closer to farewelling what has been a dramatic 2020 around the world. First off may I say how very pleased I am that our Victorian friends are now doing so very much better and hopefully will soon be safely out and about again. It has been a really tough time for many and it is great news that things are on the up and up.

Yarn Bowls Have Arrived

Some of our suppliers are still working hard to get back to normal levels of stock so we have been very fortunate to arrange back orders and keep up our levels here at Our Fine Yarnery. We are very pleased to have been able to restock our favourite hand made ceramic yarn bowls with some new characters to boot! These are always popular and go quickly, especially as we get closer to Christmas gift time, so don't delay if you have your heart set on a special yarn bowl friend.

New Printed Organic Cotton (Worsted)

Our ever popular Blue Sky Fibers Organic Cotton (Worsted) stocks are slowly being replenished with another back order due very shortly.

This is just gorgeous to work with, especially in the summer months. It is also my pleasure to introduce the new Printed Organic Cotton (Worsted) range. The hand painted and printed cotton has a lovely textured look and can be used with all our favourite Organic (Worsted) patterns.

The Seven Sisters Top is a new pattern to compliment this range. It is a versatile top that is quick to make and will be equally comfortable in the warmer weather as well as under a jacket on cooler days.

New Project Packs

Our Project Packs continue to be popular as they are quick to order and include your pattern either half price or free - a great way to save. Make sure you check in regularly as these are constantly expanding. We have lots of colour combinations for the Hip Dip Cardigan, the lovely DMC 100% Baby Cotton Project Packs and just added is our Textured Knit Blanket Project Pack using organic 'Sumptuous' yarn from The Woven Co.

Knit and Crochet Books

Keep your eye out too as we expand our range of Knit and Crochet Texts. What better way to improve your technical skills than to have a great resource on hand with step-by-step instructions and visual support. We are adding to our range over the coming weeks as these also make great gifts for our knit and crochet friends.

Expanding Scheepjes Range

Scheepjes Merino Soft and the matching Fine Art Whirls have continued their popularity and the introduction of the Stone Washed range has everyone creating colourful combinations for blankets and garments. If you haven't tried this range you may want to drop the Christmas hint for one of our sampler kits that includes cute 10g balls of all the Stone Washed colours along with some River Washed colours too. A great way to give this lovely cotton 5 ply yarn a try.

There has been increased interest in Scheepjes Metropolis which is a superior sock weight / 4ply yarn made from superfine merino. The colour palette is the most extensive I've seen! More stock will be arriving of this premium yarn over the coming weeks.

Thank you so much to everyone for supporting my little business. I so enjoy touching base with all my customers and I'm always here to help if you need me. I get such a buzz out of sharing my knowledge and seeing the joy everyone experiences in creating something for themselves or for others. We are lucky to have our craft to keep us busy through the good times and those times things get a bit tough.

Looking forward to seeing more of your work and hearing how you are travelling in October,

Michelle
