Wow it is getting cool! Here in Mudgee we have the fire on, the red wine out and perhaps a little less stylish, the Ugg boots on. All that is missing in this picture is the knitting and crochet. I still have some projects to finish - especially a virus shawl I am making for an aunt of mine. Unfortunately I can't visit her at the moment in these times of Covid however, I do hope to get it to her before it gets much colder. Even if I can't start a new project, I have just as much fun finding wonderful things for you to make.
Our Blue Sky Fibers 100% cotton is an Our Fine Yarnery customer favourite and although the mills are currently closed, I have been able to secure an order to replenish our stocks. These have been added to the site. Check out "Thistle" and "Periwinkle" that are new colours just added. Don't forget Spud & Chloe "Sweater" which is a great combination of organic cotton and superwash wool.
We have also decided to add Organic Cotton's big brother "Outer" to our range. It is a super bulky yarn and if you are like me, you love it when things make up very quickly. I am looking forward to making some quick pressies with this yarn. Outer is up on the website, patterns will be added soon.
We have a great new Scheepjes crochet cardi pattern called "Posy". I personally love crochet for its portability and forgiveness when I make a mistake so when I spot a lovely pattern - I've just got to have it. Made in Merino Soft (that just feels amazing) I can't decide what colour I would use. I am loving the rust shades at the moment but there is also a gorgeous jade and not leaving out the various berry tones. There are some new pastel shades in Merino Soft that are coming into the store too.
Also from Scheepjes, Stone Wash 50g cotton/acrylic will be arriving. This yarn, with its soft heathered effect is a popular yarn for crafters and will added to our range from Scheepjes.
I also have some amazing French cotton patterns for children coming in. Again, lovely different shades available (check out the DMC 100% Baby Cotton already up on the website) and the patterns will shortly be added. I just love the classic cardi featured here.
As you can see we are always trying to bring you the best quality and most interesting products to support your crafting. Don't forget to post to #ourfineyarnery on Instagram or email me through a photo of your work in progress and finished project. It is truly the best part of my job to be inspired by what you are all working on. You may just score yourself a woolly prize!
I am always here if you need any assistance so please feel free to touch base, provide feedback or just say hello.
Keep well and keep crafting,
