Blue Sky Fibres is a US yarn company based in Minneapolis that was born out of a love for the gorgeous fleece of alpacas. With a desire to bring premium organic yarns to creators everywhere – Blue Sky Fibres was born.

An environmentally friendly and incredibly soft cotton yarn suitable for all types of projects. We love it for our Summertime tops and all year round for babywear and those with sensitive skin.

An extensive colour palette makes it hard to choose but our favourites are the softness of ‘Shell’ and ‘Aloe’ but for vibrancy, you can’t beat ‘Lemongrass’ and ‘True Red’. Love from me and the OFY Team.

Introducing Scheepjes Stone Washed - an incredibly soft and versatile yarn that is very popular with both our knitting and crochet enthusiasts. It is one of my favourites for lacy Spring and Summer scarves. With a light coloured core, wrapped in colour, this beautiful yarn has an interesting heathered effect that is very easy on the eye. Stone Washed is a combination of 78% cotton for stellar breathability, along with a touch of acrylic to add stability and strength. A great lightweight all-seasons yarn with a very interesting colour palette.

Equivalent to a 5ply or sport weight yarn.

Suggested needle size: 3.00mm - 3.5mm.

Approximately 130 in length.

Gauge: 24 stitches, 32 rows to 10cm knitted on 3.00mm needles.
